3, 4, 11 & 12 june 2019, class presentation as stage premiere at "schauspielhaus wien" on 5 oct. 2019 during this year's vienna poetry school festival.

micro drama class on the theme of anger and rage


with antonio fian, writer, dramatist and essayist
&
julia reichert, writer, director and puppeteer


in the grand tradition of austrian anger-literature, antonio fian's class will work on dialogues full of wrath and rage. the best of these micro dramas will be staged as a puppet show during the vienna poetry school festival by julia reichert and her team.

antonio fian

*1956 in klagenfurt/austria, since 1976 writer in vienna.
fian is mainly known for his satirical micro dramas (skits) which are pointedly humorous as well as ruthless commentaries on (austrian) daily and cultural life. his micro dramas are published in "falter" & "der standard". he also writes novels, novellas, essays and poems. fian received numerous awards & prizes, such as the austrian state prize for cultural publishing (1990) and the reinhard-priessnitz-prize (2018).
most recent publications: "schwimmunterricht" (micro dramas/"dramolette". droschl 2016), "mach es wie die eieruhr!" (poems. droschl 2018)

julia reichert

*1950 in munich. artistic director, stage designer, author, director – in short, prinicpal – of the "kabinetttheater" which she founded in 1989 in graz together with christoph widauer. since 1996, the theatre is located in vienna.
