i was not born to become an omniscient narrator one day
outside it was dark. morning dawned and the sun rose. appliances started to clatter. the earth’s magnetic field became compressed, distorted, disturbed and began to judder. an appropriate clue was missing. even the toothpaste, the morning coffee, the pre-baked rolls, the tulips in the vase on the table, the butter in the fridge, the newspaper, all were missing. nothing was in its place. the last vestiges of narrative in the story continued to implode. error!
it was thursday.
