on 26 february 2016, the winners were presented during the ö1 radio play gala.
mario wurmitzer won the prize of the vienna poetry school.

the special prize of the vienna poetry school was awarded to author mario wurmitzer for his short radio play "ich werde auch länger bleiben" ("i will also stay longer").
