class “poetry and truth”
how much poetry does truth need? how much truth is in poetry?
this class focusses on the pitfalls of research and researching, on the grey area between knowing and believing as well as on judgement and prejudice. pupils will be given the task to carry out research on one of four given topics and work the researched information into a shorter or longer literary text.

anna kim
anna kim was born in 1977 in daejeon, south korea. in 1979, the whole family moved to germany because her father was appointed visiting professor for fine arts. she studied philosophy and theatre studies at the university of vienna.
she has published: “anatomie einer nacht” 2012 (“anatomy of a night” 2013), “die gefrorene zeit” 2008 (“frozen time” 2010), “die bilderspur”, “invasionen des privaten” and a collection of short stories, “figure du souvenir/die form der erinnerung” 2011.
in may 2013, anderwald-grond and Kim started the art project “the frame of the future_tm”.
she is the recipient of numerous awards, including the elias canetti fellowship, the robert musil fellowship, and the 2012 european union prize for literature.
