a sound poetry class based on animal sound samples

kalle laar:
we will attend to animal sound expressions on land, in the air and in water: from the (obviously) pet which we think we can 'understand' to popular zoo inhabitants and rather unlikely sound candidates - from unhatched pest larvae in a grain silo to the snapping shrimp. we imitate them, try to interpret, help ourselves to their structures and invent others, try to speak their language, thus play with their sounds.
the result will be animalistic works in word, music, sound or everything together.
