vienna poetry school at the international poetry festival in medellín (col)
31st festival internacional de poesía de medellín & 25 years escuela internacional de poesía de medellín (col), 1 until 29 august 2021. the poetry school in medellín, founded in 1996 together with ide hintze and the vienna poetry school (sfd), celebrates its 25th anniversary. we are delighted that sfd takes part in the festival with a talk and workshops.
"memory, survival and future" is the motto of the 31st international poetry festival in medellín – due to the ongoing corona-situation taking place online from 1 until 29 august 2021.

tues., 10 august 2021, 6 p.m. (CET) (11.00 COL): 25 years escuela internacional de poesía de medellín, talk with jairo guzmán (col), fritz ostermayer (artistic director of the vienna poetry school), carlos andrés jaramillo (col) and anne waldman (usa; jack kerouac school, boulder/colorado; poet & sfd-teacher)
wed., 18 august, 9 p.m. (CET) (2 p.m. COL) and thurs., 19 august, 9 p.m. (CET) (2 p.m. COL): workshop in 2 sessions with jörg piringer (poet & sfd-teacher, aut)
