biografie:

born in 1954. english and german language and literature studies. 1993 freelance journalist for orf/oe1 (writer, presenter and producer für various programmes, mainly for the music department) and for bbc/radio 3 and neue zürcher zeitung, die presse, ömz and highlights. main interests as a journalist: (orchestral and chamber) music from the uk and „nordic“ countries. since 1993 lecturer in the department of english, vienna university (literature seminars, translation courses, general language teaching courses...). since 2002 consultant for cultural affairs to the finnish embassy to austria.
music dramaturgy for “kalewala“ and “kullerwo und marjetta“ (markus hering, burgtheater) and “leseabende“ for actors, hosting shows and panel discussions.
