vienna poetry school (vps) - schule für dichtung (sfd)
the vienna poetry school (vps) was founded as an independent artists' project in 1991 and started its public work in april of 1992, with the organization of 12 classes and an international symposium on the topic of the “teachability and learnability of literature”.
it concentrates on the teach- and learnability, the multimedia & the multilingal aspect of poetry, publishes books, cds & videos and organizes lectures, panels, performances, workshops & internet classes. teachers: h.c. artmann, falco, allen ginsberg, henri chopin, inger christensen, marlene streeruwitz, nick cave, waris dirie, gert jonke, humberto ak'abal, robert schindel, ayu utami a.m.o.
