biography:
christian bök is a renowned canadian experimental, sound and conceptual poet, born in 1966 in toronto.
bök is the author of crystallography (1994), a pataphysical encyclopedia nominated for the gerald lampert memorial award and eunoia (2001), a bestselling work of experimental literature, which has gone on to win the griffin prize for poetic excellence. he also published the xenotext (2015), which is placed under the realm of bioart, combining microbiology and poetry, as well as the kazimir effect (2021), a visual poetry book dealing with the colour white.
christian bök is a fellow oft he royal society of canada and currently teaches creative writing and literary studies in the school of creative arts and humanities at charles darwin university in darwin (australia).
